I'm normally non political in most things...hey, you there, Kittilsen, stop sniggering! But at the risk of offending some of our American readers (sorry guys, but it really is funny) I couldn't resist this one for those of you who are less than enamoured with the current Prez of de USA. I read the other day that he said "...Europe is Americas closest ally." Given one of my favorite Bushisms is about how he protects his countrymen, I think I had better start measuring up for the bomb shelter in the front yard!

Well, us two Americans can easily say that we didn't vote for bush or cheney. In fact, anyone who cannot pronounce the state in which we were born doesn't get a vote! So where is our birthplace? According to bush, it was "Michkin". Yes, it's that often forgotten destination where the "Red Brick Road" from the Wizard of Oz would take you. In fact, it's that magical place where vowels, syllables and allocution are unnecessary! (Stick to the "Yellow Brick Road")!
